Unique Board is pleased to present our debut AR collaboration with Japanese artist Jun Oson / @junoson. Based on Jun’s painting, “Not Alone 1,” this Augmented Reality artist edition brings his red dog character to life as an interactive collectible.
Staring into his phone as many of us were throughout the pandemic’s lockdowns + restrictions, the figure feels oddly comforting — like an emblem of shared experience, we were once all alone, together.

Jun Oson, Artist
Jun Oson was born in Aichi, Japan and currently lives in Kamakura. After graduating from university, he initially worked for a design company. He now works widely as an illustrator, specialising in the areas of animation, T-shirt design, and print and web-based media. He is also enthusiastic about displaying his work at private exhibitions.
Romain, Collector + Curator
Meet Romain, a collector of the UB community + curator of this AR release — Originally from France and currently living in London, Romain has collected AR works by UB since our first release in September 2020.
“My love for art started when I was a teenager, purchasing a series of paintings made by local artists from Normandy. Throughout the years I have developed a passion for the Grand Masters, but always followed and collected emerging talents. Currently I am fascinated by the artworks of modern Japanese and South East Asian artists.”
