The Berlin-based studio Vater Lin Miro, founded by Lucas Doerre and Marius Sperlich, pulls double duty as fine artists and creative directors. A multimedia studio, Vater Lin Miro seamlessly shifts from traditional formats like sculpture, graphic design, and photography to 3D animation, 3D printing, and other new media art forms.
In OPPRESSIVE FUTURE, a new series of surreal fine art sculptures, Doerre and Sperlich focus on human emotions—their complexity, their variety. How humans develop their own set of emotions: never static, but always in flux and evolving over time. The series explores the exchange of emotions between the individual and society; how this invisible network creates a feedback loop of emotional change, both positive and negative.
